For this weeks cyber smart thing we had fill out a form and we watched a video that told us that you shouldn’t reply if you get a comment thats not positve. Then you can share it to a teacher or a sensible adult to sort it out.
Piwakawaka’s cybersmart challenge for this week we had to copy a google doc and share it with a buddy you don’t normaly work with. Once you shared the doc with your buddy you had to play nort’s and crosses, once you played norts and crosses you had to write a story with your buddy and take turns writing words for the story. The point of doing it was to work collabortivly and trying something new?
Today the class made sheep and daffodils. I made a daffodil. To make the daffodil you needed six pieces of origamy paper some scissors and cellotape. First you folded the paper diagonally twice then you cut 3 lines in the paper. Next you unfold the paper and cellotape the cuts together and you have a pettle. If you make 6 pettles you have enough to make a flower.
Piwakawaka has been writing and learning how to start a story and quickly hook your reader into wanting to read more. Miss Hickford told us to try start a story with someone talking and not to forget to put” at the start and end of the speech. I think its a lot easer to start a story using speech.
This week for poetry I made a dimate poem. A dimate poem has one noun then two adjectives, three verbs, two nouns, and one noun. I made my poem about mammails and reptiles. Here is my poem.
A few days ago I learn’t that the number on the top of a fraction bar is called a numerator and the number down on the bottem of the bar is called a denomerate. I also learn’t all factions are even. I liked learning about factions. do you think you would liked to learn about them as well???
On Wednesday me Luke and some people from kereru we to the Tambo to do a beach clean up. First we had to measure the distance the Crursaders (our school environment group) did last time and post it off with pink poles. Then we got in a straight line and started to walk up the beach looking for rubbish. Luke found a scuff and a tennis ball then I found a nerf bullet but no gun to shoot the bullet. It was fun to pick up rubbish. And I helped stop the rubbish going into the sea and killing animals. Would you like to save the environment?
Today for my cybersmart challenge I had to make a all about me profile and post it on my blog but we had to know what is and what is not right information share. I really liked making it because it was fun.
Do you think you would like to make one and why?
